Is it easy to damage the painted finish?
We refinish cabinets using a highly durable two-part waterbased industrial coating. However no coating is indestructable, and it can chip or scratch under extreme abuse. We advise against using abrasive cleaning products,
We do offer a warranty on all our kitchen cabinet repaints, subject to certain conditions.
Do you spray or use a brush and roller?
We almost exclusively spray cabinets. The only exception being where the customer explicitly requests a brushed finish. (think older, traditional home where a less modern aesthetic is required).
Do you repair any existing damage?
Yes, absolutely. Any gouges, scratches etc.. will be filled during the process. In some cases the damage may not be repairable (cracked panels, or missing pieces). This can be discussed before work begins, and a solution offered on a case by case basis.
Can you replace the handles?
Yes we can; If the new handles differ in size or placement to the old ones, then we simply fill in the old holes and drill new ones.
How disruptive is this process?
The process does require some patience on behalf of the customer. Generally speaking access to your kitchen will be restricted while work is underway. Our absolute focus is on minimizing our impact in the space, and getting the job completed in a timely manner.
How many colors do I have to choose from?
You have an infinite choice of colors, just as if you were painting the walls of your home. We will assist in color consultation, and also advise on the best sheen for your color.
